While the fans of Budućnost VOLI were chanting his name last Sunday, the fans of Cedevita were asking themsleves what would have happened if their club had extended contract with Nemanja Gordić in the summer of 2016.
Back then, after playing two seasons for Cedevita, Nemanja Gordić decided to accept the offer from Budućnost VOLI and to continue his career in Podgorica.
And two years later, he led Budućnost VOLI toward a thrilling win against his former team Cedevita in Game 1 of the 2018 ABA League Semi-Finals.
